Enticing dark plum, brier fruit and rose hip with damp wet earth all beckon from the glass. Showing a beautiful harmony on the palate mixing, black current, blueberry and a sweet floral with a herbaceous overtones. Firmly structured yet silky tannins are incredibly well-integrated, and the finish is long, luscious, and mouth-watering.

Vineyard Notes
Located at a low point in the Mayacamas Mountains on the western side of the Napa Valley, Spring Mountain wines often have softer tannins than their valley floor counterparts, although they exhibit Napa's characteristic big fruit flavors. With a more homogenous climate than other parts of Napa, the region produces fruit able to reach full ripeness with that all-important acid structure intact. The rocky, infertile slopes provide the perfect level of stress for the vines, forcing them to dig deep, strong root systems. When well managed, this results in small yields of intensely flavored grapes, producing concentrated wines.
