Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
A vibrant, sweet bouquet of raspberry
jam, caramel and cinnamon toast.
Excellent oak integration provides
silky tannins and spice to pair with
Lodi’s unrestricted wild berry fruit.
Vineyard Notes
Introducing Six Spot Red Wine, an enticing addition to the
Predator Wines family. Some farmers believe that finding a
ladybug with six spots signals a bountiful harvest. And, since
ladybugs consume crop-damaging aphids, even the least
superstitious grower welcomes them, six - spotted or not. Six
Spot Red Wine is sourced from the renowned Lodi Appellation.
Production Notes
Lodi, California is ideally situated between the Sierra Foothills
and the San Francisco Bay Delta and benefits from cool
afternoon and evening breezes, producing world-renowned red
varieties. The 2015 harvest developed wines with intense, fruit
flavors and well-structured tannins. Our winemaking team
blended a selection of Petite Sirah, Zinfandel and Malbec to
craft this expressive and balanced red wine.
Food Pairing Notes
Ladybugs would
suggest pairing this Red Wine with fresh aphids or mites – but we
recommend short ribs or a delicious Osso Buco.
Other Notes
A delicious blend of 48% Petite
Sirah, 30% Zinfandel and 22%
Malbec
